Adventure Tribe Warranty

At Adventure Tribe, we believe in the quality of our eBikes  and all bikes come with a manufacturers warranty. While we hope you never need to use it, it's reassuring to know you're covered if something goes wrong and we will be here to support you.

Warranty Coverage

All our eBikes come with a manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by brand. For detailed warranty information, please refer to the manufacturer's website.

Upon delivery of your eBike, please follow the instructions in the user manual to register your warranty. Registration is typically required within the first 4 weeks of receiving your bike to ensure coverage.

Main Components Covered

The manufacturer's warranty generally covers mechanical and electrical parts, including:

  • Frame
  • Forks
  • Seat
  • Motor
  • Controller
  • Battery (one claim per specific fault)
  • Charger

The warranty applies to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and conditions.

Exclusions

The following items and conditions are not normally covered by the warranty:

  • Consumable parts such as tires, inner tubes, chains, chain rings, sprockets, brake pads, bearings, spokes, handlebar grips, or cables.
  • Cosmetic damage including rust, corrosion, hairline cracks in paint, or paint chips.
  • Water damage or damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents. For example washing the bike upside down.
  • Damage due to improper maintenance, overloading, incorrect assembly, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Damage from extreme use, such as competitions, stunts, or jumps.
  • Battery warranty will be void if the battery case is opened or tampered with.

General Conditions

  1. All warranty work must be performed by an approved by adventure tribe mechanic.
  2. The warranty includes replacement parts and the cost of shipping for covered components.
  3. For frame claims, the frame or complete bike (cleaned) may need to be sent to Adventure Tribe for examination. We reserve the right to charge for labor, delivery, and collection.
  4. The warranty will be void if:
    • Repairs are attempted by anyone other than an approved mechanic.
    • Non-approved replacement parts are used.
    • Unauthorized disassembly of any part or component occurs.
    • The speed limiter set to 25km/h (15.5mph) is bypassed or tampered with.

General Maintenance

Regular maintenance is essential for the longevity and safety of your eBike. We recommend a service within the first 6 weeks of use and every 6 months thereafter, especially if the bike is used daily. Annual servicing by an electric bike specialist is strongly recommended.

Keep your eBike clean and well-lubricated. For non-mountain eBikes, designed primarily for on-road use, ensure all mud and sand are cleaned from moving parts, and lightly lubricate them before storage or further use. Avoid applying lubricant to braking surfaces.
